Η ASCO-Αmerican Society of Clinical Oncology, στο πλαίσιο του εθνικού προγράμματος «Choosing Wisely« του ιδρύματος ΑΒΙΜ Foundation για μείωση των μή αποτελεσματικών/μή χρήσιμων θεραπειών/διαγνωστικών εξετάσεων, προτείνει στους γιατρούς την κατάργηση πέντε εξετάσεων και θεραπειών για ογκολογικούς ασθενείς.
